Department of Computer Science & Engineering Hosts the 1st Annual Alumni & Friends Golf Scramble
Eight teams participated in the Department of Computer Science & Engineeringās first annual Alumni & Friends golf scramble held on Saturday, September 26th at Crooked Creek Golf Club.Ā Local industry had theĀ opportunity to become a hole sponsor with all sponsor proceeds going to the UN Foundation CSE Excellence Fund. Sponsors included Expert Financial Systems, Security of Money in Bits and Bytes, Don F. Costello, President; Blue Orchid Thai Restaurant; Design Data & The University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union
Following the golf scramble, the 2nd annual Alumni & Friends tailgate party was held at the June & Paul Schorr III Center for Computer Science & Engineering. Approximately 50 alumni, friends, CSE faculty and staff attended the event which began 3 hours prior to the NU-Louisiana/Lafayette game. The golf awards were presented and 7 lucky attendees won door prizes donated by the UNL Office of Campus Recreation.
